Elivagar – “Haglstormbølge”. Elven, der I forbindelse med verdens tilblivelse flød fra kilden Hvergelmer og størknede til is og rimdannelse. Da rimen mødte varme opstod det første levende væsen, jætten Ymer.

Elivagar – ”Hailstorm Wave”. The elf Elivagar emanated from the spring of Hvergelmer, and then immediately set into ice and white frost. As the ice of Elivagar was combined with heat, the first living creature came into being. All this happened at that dawn of time. By the way, the first living creature was the giant Ymer who has his very own story in Nordic mythology.
