Urds Brønd – Urd’s Well. The well of Asgård, where one of Yggdrasil’s three roots ends (Yggdrasil being the Norse tree of life). The root is tended by the Fates Urd, Verdante and Skuld. A dried-up root means Ragnarok – the end of the world.
