“HØNER”

Høner – a handsome and fast As (Norse god); by nature silent and reserved. Høner is often found in the company of Odin and Loke. In the Poetic Edda Völuspá (Prophecy of the Völva), the story of how Høner collaborated with Odin and Lodur on creating the first human couple – Ask and Embla – is told. Høner collaborated with Odin and Lodur and was the one endowing Ask and Embla with their spirits (or minds). Høner is spelled Hænir in old Norse.
