Nordbo – the Vikings were ‘nordboer’, Northeners. A people of mainly Scandinavian descent speaking the Norse languague; ‘Norrønt’. The Northeners founded states and settled on the British Isles, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and in parts of the countries we now know as Finland, Russia, France, Belgium, Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Poland, Canada and in South Italy.
